About Us

Our firm was founded over 25 years ago in Midland, Michigan. Since our founding, our firm has grown to include clients located throughout upper and lower Michigan. We work with many small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries, from manufacturing and construction to service and retail.

Our approach to working with businesses has evolved into a holistic approach to accounting and consulting; we attempt to assist our clients into looking past the numbers and into their meaning and the messages that they tell the business owner. We believe this is a unique approach to accounting; we work with the owner of the business to determine the problems that confront the business owner on an ongoing basis and to develop solutions that are affective in solving them. We are willing to spend the time necessary to reach the solution that works, we believe that time and energy we have invested in our clients is what has helped our firm to grow.

This approach to accounting wasn’t developed in a vacuum; the majority of our services have been to those individuals that are developmentally disabled or mentally ill and to their families. These individuals have chosen to assume the responsibility and control for their support dollars through their involvement in the self-determination program administrated by the community mental health organizations located throughout Michigan. The services provided to individuals involved within the self-determination program are called fiscal intermediary services.

You cannot provide these services without it having an effect on how you see things, we believe that the services we provide to these individuals has greatly influenced how we approach every client we work with whether disabled, mentally ill, a business or an individual tax engagement.
