Training

Community Mental Health programs require training for providers. The CMH organizations and Self-Determination program participants work together to develop a training curriculum which meets the requirements of state law and the needs of the program participants. The training curriculum and how often it must be updated vary by program participant and county.

TRAINING IS REQUIRED

PRIOR TO WORKING UNLESS

OTHERWISE SPECIFIED

INCOMPLETE OR MISSING TRAINING

WILL PREVENT PAYMENT

Participants on the SED Waiver require all staff to have a clear TB test on file prior to working.

Please submit the signed attestation page.

  • Recipient Rights 'Day One Orientation'

  • Blood-Borne Infectious Disease

  • Standards for CLS

  • Cultural Competency - within 60 days of hire

  • Due Process, Grievance and Appeals - within 90 days of hire

  • Limited English Proficiency - within 60 days of hire

  • Medicaid Integrity - within 90 days of hire

  • Person Centered Planning - within 30 days of hire

  • Emergency Preparedness - within 30 days of hire

The following trainings are only required if specified in the IPOS:

  • Medication Administration

  • Non-Aversive Techniques (Behavior Treatment Plan)
